Microsoft UK Transition Promo to ease the sharp rise in Open Value orders
If you are one of the unlucky ones to have missed the lower June pricing, fear not (too much anyway) as Microsoft have a promo running to help ease the transition to the higher pricing realignment. The products can be found on the July pricelist under the aptly named "TrnsPrm” in the description and include the Enterprise products as well as SQL server and CALs, Project, Systems Center, VDI suites, Remote Desktop CALs, Windows Server Licences ETC (for a full list, please refer to the July Price List). While these are not as low as Junes pricing for the corresponding products, they will go a way to ease the pain of the price increase on the customers. The promotional pricing will run until the end of September 2012, so here is another push to get orders in before the deadline and fix pricing in for the three year agreements.
